How to: adjust the chain oil flow (if equipped)
To adjust the chain oil flow
WARNING: Stop the engine before you make adjustments to the oil pump.
Note: This information is only applicable for saws equipped with adjustable oil pump.
Turn the adjustment screw for the oil pump. Use a screwdriver or combination wrench.
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to decrease the chain oil flow.
Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise to increase the chain oil flow.
Please refer to Recommended settings for the oil pump section in your manual if you are unsure about the setting.
Depending on your saw, please refer to below illustration 1 or 2.
