Can't restart saw when hot

The following are hot-start procedures that work on most chainsaw models:
Without using the choke, hold the throttle wide open and pull the starter handle until the saw coughs.
Pull the choke out and push it back in without touching the throttle. This will set the high idle and the saw should start much easier.
If the engine is difficult to start, apply half-throttle. You access the half-throttle function by first fully activating the choke, then moving the control back.
