Clogged fuel tank vent

To check if the fuel tank vent is clogged, do the following test:

Immediately after the chainsaw has stopped and can not be started again, put the unit on the side and open the tank cap completely

Close the tank cap again.

Try to start. If it starts but stops again after a short while, the fuel tank vent is clogged.

Please contact your local dealer

If your fuel tank vent is not venting properly it may need to be replaced, please contact your local authorized Husqvarna service center.

If the tank vent is located in the fuel cap it may be possible to clean with warm soapy water but is recommend to replace the tank cap.
