Beware that the smoke coming from the exhaust can vary in color.
Smoke is a result of too much oil or dirty oil. Follow the step-by-step guide to check the oil level.
Note: Replace the oil if dirty.
If you notice that your lawn mower is using too much oil, please visit your local authorized dealer.
⚠️CAUTION: A too low oil level can do damage to the engine. Do a check of the oil level before you start the product.
Put the product on level ground.
Remove the oil tank cap with the attached dipstick.
Clean the oil from the dipstick.
Put the dipstick fully into the oil tank to give a correct picture of the oil level.
Note: If dipstick cap has a thread, do not screw it in while checking the oil level.
Remove the dipstick.
Examine the oil level on the dipstick.
If the oil level is low, fill with engine oil and do a check of the oil level again.
Check the oil every time you use the mower. Tough conditions such as wet grass, heavy dust, high temperatures and rough or hilly terrain, may increase the frequency of required oil changes.
