Use the hot-start procedure as per the operators manual.
Hot-start procedures that work on most chainsaw models:
Hold the throttle wide open and pull the starter handle until the saw coughs.
Pull the choke out and push it back in without touching the throttle. This will set the high idle and the saw should start much easier.
Press the air purge repeatedly until fuel begins to fill the bulb. The bulb need not be completely filled. Push the choke in the closed position. Keep on pulling the cord powerfully until the engine starts. Once the engine starts, apply full throttle.
