To properly determine correct literature and service parts, you must have the right Husqvarna product model and serial number. The serial number is located under the seat for most tractors/riding mowers. The model name is located under the Model box.

You can see when the product was produced by looking at the serial number:

The first four digits in the serial number are the year the product was manufactured. The fifth and sixth digits are the week. The seventh digit is the day of the week.
